This district, which notably houses the cathedral, the Reformation Wall and the Town Hall as well as many old streets and pretty squares such as that of Bourg-de-Four, where fairs were held in the Middle Ages, reveals the Geneva of bygone days. Formerly limited by its ramparts, it is today a picturesque and beautifully restored city.
