William Wilberforce Museum

The birthplace of William Wilberforce (1758-1833), the advocate of the abolition of slavery, now houses a museum about slavery - the triangular trade and plantations - and the life and work of the man instrumental in achieving its abolition. There is period furniture in some of the rooms, as well as collections of costumes, clocks and Hull silver.
