This charming old fishing village, with its tightly packed cottages and winding alleyways closed to traffic, is nestled in an attractive inlet. Restaurants and arts and crafts shops line the streets heading down to the tiny port, one of the region's most popular tourist destinations. A converted sardine factory by the waterfront houses a small museum displaying photographs by Lewis Harding (1806-1893) and exhibits illustrating the area's past, which was long dependent on fishing and smuggling.
