Lost Gardens of Heligan

Recommended
These gardens cover an area of 80ha; planted by Thomas Gray then abandoned, they were recovered and underwent restoration work from 1991. They include Flora's Garden (rhododendrons), a walled vegetable garden, an orchard, the "Jungle" (exotic trees planted in the 19C) and the "Lost Valley" (exotic species and a water meadow). Kids will love the farm animals, emu park and Burmese Rope Bridge.
