Widecombe-in-the-Moor
The Essential
A cluster of white-walled, thatched cottages grouped around St Pancras church, stands in a shallow valley surrounded by 460-m high granite ridges. Widecombe in the Moor is, as its name suggests, sited on Dartmoor, the largest of the five granite massifs which form the core of Southwest England.
