St Mary's Church

Interesting
At the top of the hill stands the parish church of St Mary, flanked by twin towers and consecrated in 1260 on land that belonged to Rouen Cathedral from 1061 to 1336. A large part of the liturgical furniture dates back to that period (1280-1377), including the Grandisson clock and the gilded wooden eagle, one of the oldest and finest lecterns of its type in England. Note also the different vaults, the superb coloured keystones and corbels.
