Old Royal Observatory
Greenwich Park extends over nearly 90ha. Rising 52m above the river, the hill is crowned by the Observatory. Visitors can see Flamsteed House, its octagonal hall equipped with what John Evelyn called "the most perfect instrument there ever could be". The Meridian Building houses the Observatory's instrument collection. Don't miss the digital laser technology of the Peter Harrison Planetarium.
