St Bartholomew-the-Less

Formerly the hospital chaplaincy, this church was renovated by George Dance the Younger in the late 18C, and again by Hardwick in 1823. Damaged by bombing in the Second World War, the building was restored in the 1950s. The 15C square tower, which is covered by a small tower with a cupola, can be seen from Smithfield market.
