Heysham

Heysham
The Essential
Today, the small resort of Heysham is a port serving Ireland and the Isle of Man, and the site of a nuclear power station equipped with two gas-cooled reactors. The headland overlooking Heysham harbour has six graves cut into the rockface, probably by Irish monks in the 8C. The remains of the Saxon St Patrick's Chapel can be seen nearby.
