Corbridge

Corbridge
The Essential
South of Hadrian's Wall, the defensive wall erected by the Romans on the border between England and Scotland, is the charming village of Corbridge. It was founded by a colony of civilians that followed the military camps, which grew around Corstopitum's Roman fort. The museum has the most interesting collection of ancient artefacts of all the Hadrian's Wall sites.
