National Museum of Scotland
Two adjoining buildings make up the National Museum of Scotland. The first is the Royal Museum, which is housed in a masterpiece of Victorian architecture and exhibits disparate collections: fossils, furniture, decorative arts, stuffed animals etc. The Museum of Scotland, meanwhile, is in a modern building that was inaugurated in 1988. Here, you will learn about Scotland and the Scottish in their historical context.
