Menstrie Castle

This small 16C fortress houses a museum dedicated to the founding of the province of Nova Scotia, which was originally a Scottish colony. The museum reminds visitors that Menstrie was the birthplace of the colony's founder, Sir William Alexander I, first count of Stirling (1567-1640).
