Old houses of Falkland

Interesting
Going through the village, you can admire some interesting homes: Moncreif House (17C) with a thatched roof made from reeds from the Tay; Key House, with its lintel dating back to 1713, not far from St Andrew's House, from the 18C, with its roughcast walls and red tiled roof; the three-storey Brunton House (1712), home of the royal falconers; and the house where the Lion of the Covenant, Richard Cameron, was born (1648-1680).
