Scottish Fisheries Museum
Housed in a group of 16C-19C buildings on three sides of a cobbled courtyard, the museum traces the story of Scotland's fisheries and the everyday life of its fishermen. In addition to an aquarium of fish and shellfish from Scottish waters, the museum has rooms illustrating various fishing techniques, including salmon fishing and whaling. Some examples of smaller boats are on show along with a reconstruction of a late-19C fisherman's cottage.
