Dryburgh Abbey

The extensive and majestic ruins of Dryburgh abbey lie on a secluded site on a sheltered meander of the Tweed. Established in the 12C, the abbey was the first Scottish establishment founded by the Premonstratensian Order and was part of Alnwick abbey.
