The River Rheidol and River Mynach meet here to form the spectacular 90m-high Mynach Falls. Three bridges span the river nowadays. The first was probably built by monks from Strata Florida in the 11C, though legend says it was the Devil who built it to enable a local woman to take her cattle across it. The second dates from 1708 and the iron bridge from 1901.
