The Essential
Recommended
Sited on a rocky headland, this little medieval town offers all the attractions of a seaside resort in a harmonious and compact fashion. Dinbych-y-Pysgod (Little Fish Fort) originated in a small Welsh fortress on Castle Hill. Later, it became a satellite of the Norman stronghold at Pembroke, was sacked by the Welsh, then rebuilt with surrounding ramparts.
