Ko Adang

Highly recommended
This small island of intense green, rising to a height of 703m, rises impressively out of the turquoise sea to the west of the Mu Ko Tarutao marine park. At the centre of this unspoilt island, a dense forest, home to a variety of fauna, can be explored via a number of footpaths which lead to the refreshing Pirate Waterfall and the hamlet of Talo Po Ya, occupied by the Chao Le people, former nomads who now earn their living from fishing. The idyllic Laem Son beach is a picture-postcard vision of paradise.
