Dinosaur Provincial Park
A UNESCO world heritage site since 1979, this remarkable park contains the region's richest fossil deposits. Several short walks lead to display cases in which you can see dinosaur bones in the state they were found. Longer nature trails provide a deeper insight into this unspoiled wilderness. The majority of the park is, however, only accessible by minibus or on guided hiking excursions.
