Fort Vancouver National Site

Recommended
This Reserve contains several historically important sites located along and adjacent to the Columbia River. Between 1825 and 1846, the Hudson Bay Company established their headquarters here and in 1849, the United States set up their first military post in the Pacific Northwest. Start your tour in the O.O. Howard House Visitor Center located in a restored 1878 Victorian house.
