A 66m/217ft-high steeple dominates Holy Rosary Cathedral, while 21 large stained-glass windows filter the light. Five of the windows were by Guido Nincheri, one of Canada's most prolific religious artists and famous for his huge murals, frescoes and stained glass. The Gothic Revival-style building was finished in 1900, and declared a cathedral 16 years later. Pope John-Paul II sang Mass here in 1984.
