Alphonse-Desjardins House

Interesting
Built between 1882 and 1884 in the Gothic Revival style, this small, white clap-board house was the home of Alphonse and Dorimène Desjardins for more than 40 years. The house was restored in 1982 by the Mouvement Desjardins as a tribute to its founder who created the "Caisse populaire", the first loan and savings cooperative bank of North America.
