When to go
The weather in Los Angeles is fine practically all year long! The City of Angels on the Sun Belt is indeed blessed with heavenly weather conditions as breezes off the Pacific Ocean tend to cool the coast down in summer and warm it up in winter.
Whatever the time of year, you can bicycle up and down Santa Monica or go roller-skating at Venice Beach.
It should however be pointed out that it rains more in the winter, air pollution increases as the temperatures rise and morning smog frequently smothers the city.
The beaches are particularly busy in July and August, but you can always find a quiet spot on Long Beach.
Finally, if you are in the movie capital of the world around late November, don’t miss the Hollywood Christmas Parade on Hollywood Boulevard as you may catch a glimpse of your favorite stars.
