Venice Canals

Recommended
Venice owes its name to the canals that entrepreneur Abbot Kinney had built in 1900, creating "America's Venice" like a theme park, with authentic gondolas and gondoliers imported from Italy. Today, only three miles of canals remain, demarcating picturesque homes, along which it is pleasant to take a stroll. The boats moored on the banks, the small bridges and ducks contribute to the restful atmosphere of the site.
