Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens

Highly recommended
Huntington Library, one of the major libraries of the US, is mainly devoted to Anglo-American literature and history; it also houses a world-class collection of 18-19C British, French and American art, together with renowned botanical gardens. Tucked away in the upmarket Pasadena suburb of Los Angeles, it occupies the ranch of railway tycoon Henry E. Huntington (1850-1927).
