New Haven Museum

Recounting 300 years of New Haven's history, exhibits in 11 galleries here display antique pewter, china and toys dating from the period of the New Haven Colony, among other items. The society also preserves notable artifacts, including an original model of Eli Whitney's cotton gin and one of Samuel F.B. Morse's first code receivers.
