Chicago Place

Recognisable by its green and pink granite base, this versatile building (1990) was originally a seven-storey shopping centre. When its shops, except for Saks Fifth Avenue, closed in 2009, the empty lots were converted into offices overlooking a 43-floor residential building. Its windows are characteristic of the Chicago School. In the monumental hall you will see the huge mural by Thomas Melvin, which charts the city's history.
