Macy's

Interesting
This grand old department store occupies an entire block at the north end of fabled State Street. It was completed in stages between 1892 and 1914 by D. H. Burnham & Co. for Marshall Field & Company, which operated under the dictum "Give the Lady What She Wants". Its richly embellished corner clock remains a Chicago icon. The interior features 92 900 m2 of retail space and a lovely Tiffany Favrile glass dome.
