Walters Art Museum

With a collection spanning several centuries (300 BC to the early 20C), this gem of a museum is best known for its Renaissance and medieval art, rare books and illuminated manuscripts. Created by the Walters, it displays Renaissance masterpieces by such greats as El Greco alongside jewellery from ancient civilisations. The museum has a highly reputed collection of Asian art displayed in a separate building, which is connected by an interior footbridge (The Link).
