Gibson House Museum
Step inside this row house and you'll get a sense of the reality of 19C life in Boston. Built in 1859, the Gibson House retains its Victorian flavor and offers a rare glimpse into the lifestyle of an affluent Back Bay family. The house features elaborate woodwork, 15-foot ceilings, imported carpets, mock leather wallpaper and plenty of curios.
