This lovely seaside town is a popular tourist mecca, thanks to its fine Victorian architecture, broad sandy beaches and full calendar of festivals and events. Located at the southern tip of New Jersey, between the Atlantic and Delaware Bay, Cape May drew New England whale-fishers in the 17C. It was from the 19C, boasting long beaches and sea air, that the town became a popular seaside resort.
