A handsome modern building houses artifacts and interpretive displays that describe Oregon City's past, from pre-settlement days up to the last few decades. Before going inside, look down from the 90ft bluff at roaring Willamette Falls, a short but broad cascade that stretches across most of the Willamette River. Inside, the exhibits include needlework genealogy charts, ancient Indian petroglyphs and class photos from historic one-room schoolhouses.
