Barnes Foundation's Galleries and Arboretum

Highly recommended
Doctor, businessman and art connoisseur, Dr Albert C. Barnes (1872-1951) believed all people were entitled to education and an appreciation of fine arts. To that end he established the Barnes Foundation in 1922. In a superb contemporary building (Todd Williams and Billie Tsien) is the exceptional collection of Impressionist and post-Impressionist paintings, including work by Renoir, Cézanne and 60 by Matisse, Picasso, Soutine, Rousseau, Modigliani, Rubens, Manet et al.
