Old City Market

Interesting
Consisting of a three-block row of vendors' sheds, the Old City Market is housed in a Greek Revival-style market hall dating from 1840 and designed by Edward Brickell White to resemble the Temple of Fortuna Virilis in Rome. Today the long sheds offer a virtual flea market of foodstuffs, T-shirts, jewellery and sweet grass baskets.
