Antelope Island State Park

A long causeway crosses the shallow flats of the Great Salt Lake to this 28,000-acre wildlife refuge, largest island in the lake. From the visitor center, guests can hike, bike or ride horses on 40mi of trails. Besides antelope, the island is home to mule deer, bighorn sheep, coyotes, bobcats, upland game birds, waterfowl, and bisons descended from a late-19C herd.
