The Royal Botanic Garden Sydney
Enjoy a pleasant stroll through the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, a 30ha/74 acre-oasis of greenery in the heart of town. The garden, created in 1816, is one of the oldest in the southern hemisphere. Activities include relaxing by a pond, contemplating the art installations dotted along the paths and picnicking on the grass beneath a tree, inevitably filled with noisy parrots (and the occasional bat!).
